– The new Tata Punch is expected to launch in the country next month

– The model will be officially unveiled on October 4, 2021

Ahead of its launch which could take place early next month, the new Tata Punch micro-SUV has started arriving at local dealerships across the country, as evidenced by images shared around the web.

As the pictures show here, the Tata Punch will be offered in a two-tone shade of brown and black. Previous spy shots revealed two other colors, including orange and blue, details of which are available here.

In terms of design, the 2021 Tata Punch will feature a unique slatted thick black grille, flanked by a split headlight design on either side. The fairing will also feature a bumper and two-tone fog lights. On each side, the model will receive roof rails and two-tone alloy rims, while the rear will benefit from a set of swept-back LED taillights, rear wiper and washer, an integrated spoiler, a reversing camera and the Punch lettering on the trunk lid.

Dashboard

Inside, the new Tata Punch will feature an original Harman stand-alone touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, two-tone dashboard, rectangular air vents, flat-bottom steering wheel with steering wheel controls , a digital-to-analog instrument console borrowed from the Altroz, and an engine start-stop button. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob will also be offered.

Under the hood, the Tata Punch is expected to be powered by the brand’s 1.2-liter Revotron gasoline engine paired with a five-speed manual unit or AMT unit. Once launched, the Tata Punch will rival the Mahindra KUV100 Nxt and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
