MELVILLE, NY – After a three-year hiatus, this spring saw the return of long-awaited Canon Roadshow events, hosted by Canon USA, Inc. for key dealer sales contributors and solutions analysts.

The Canon Roadshow 2022 included five live events in May and June in the Chicago, Irvine, Dallas, Atlanta and Princeton, NJ areas. 365 people were present among 99 partner dealers.

The shows provided training sessions for dealership sales and technical staff while providing media and analysts with the opportunity to learn more about Canon’s plans to continue to support the changing working environment.

A key theme was how to meet customer needs across a variety of work styles that include an in-office, fully remote environment, or a hybrid environment that includes both. Canon showcased how the products and solutions it offers are designed to simplify the experience for end users and IT managers, help users control sensitive information and printing costs across multiple locations, and scale with the changing customer needs.

The Canon Roadshow series consisted of two learning tracks – SalesNET and TechNET. As part of SalesNet, sales managers and top sales reps participated in interactive sessions that included job workshops, games, and demo contests. Topics covered included key solutions and business areas such as uniFLOW Online, the award-winning cloud output management solution, large format printers, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX product family and solutions for vertical markets. In TechNet, Solution Analysts received hands-on training where they had the opportunity to complete the configuration and implementation of key solutions from start to finish. Main topics included uniFLOW Online, Iris PowerScan and Canon’s service and support tools.

The evening event included a new trade showcase where Canon highlighted several new business areas that will be available to resellers. Specialist printers were also on display, consisting of a range of ID card/badge printers, label printers and wire/cable marker printers. The showcase also included Whiz (of which Canon is an authorized reseller), a commercial robot vacuum and sweeper that works to automate floor cleaning in multiple environments, which can help ease the burden of ongoing labor shortages. Canon’s AMLOS (Activate My Line of Sight) solution, currently under development, was also on display. The AMLOS system is designed to help redefine the way people see, engage and interact in hybrid office environments using a single camera in a meeting space and with a user interface accessible to remote participants via a web browser .

“We are delighted with the response of the return of the Canon Roadshow series and the opportunity to once again host in-person events with our dealers for the first time since 2019,” said Karin Harrington, Senior Director of Sales Division. to Canon USA dealers. “These events provide the opportunity to provide demonstrations, answer questions and solicit feedback from our dealers, and are key to further strengthening our relationships.
