Along with the full reveal of the Citroën C3, the company has also outlined its network expansion plans for the Indian market. The Citroën C3 is set to launch in India on July 20 with reservations opening on July 1.

Expansion of the Citroën India dealership

When the C3 is launched, Citroën will have 20 showrooms in 19 cities. This will be up from the current 11 showrooms in 10 cities. By the end of this year, this will have expanded to cover 30 dealerships in mostly Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

This apart from the online shopping options that Citroën offers with the C5 Aircross extending to the C3. Customers will be able to complete the purchase process online and have their new, fully registered car delivered to their doorstep right from the factory.

Citroën India service initiatives

The many service initiatives launched so far by Citroën in India will also be available with the Citroën C3. These will include online assistance with remote diagnosis, pick up and drop off for periodic maintenance and service, 3 hour roadside assistance warranty, website service cost estimator and genuine promise of availability of spare parts in 24 hours.

Citroen C3 2022 engine options

As we have already reported, the engine options for the Citroën C3 suggest that it will be a premium B-segment offering. which is expected to produce 82 hp and 118 Nm. Top variants are expected to get a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol that makes 110 hp and 205 Nm. There are expected to be manual and automatic options for both engine choices.

Dimensions Citroen C3 2022

The Citroën C3 will be 3,981mm long, 1,733mm wide, 1,586mm high and have a wheelbase of 2,540mm. This makes it slightly smaller than the Renault Kiger in exterior dimensions but with a 40mm longer wheelbase.

Citroën C3 2022 prices, launch date

Expect prices for the Citroen C3 to start from Rs 5 to 9 lakh when it launches in mid-July. The C3 will compete with B-segment sedans.
