Ford celebrated the success of its top 30 car and van retailers by naming the recipients of its annual President’s Awards.
Among the top performing AM100 car retail groups represented in the awards were TrustFord, the Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors divisions of Vertu Motors and Lookers.

Vertu’s Bristol Street Motors Bolton Ford, Kings Norton Ford and Macklin Motors Glasgow Ford have all received the manufacturer’s highest honor.

Data on new H1 car registrations from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) released yesterday showed Ford was the UK’s top-selling brand in the first half of 2022.
Its Puma crossover was the second best-selling car in the first half of 2022, behind the Vauxhall Corsa, with the Kuga SUV also making the top 10.

Kerry Motor Works, of Tralee, and Michael Lyng Motors, of Kilkenny, came out on top in a car section of the awards in Ireland, while Spirit Ford and Colton Motors emerged as the most successful commercial vehicle (CV) dealers.
