The Criminal Enterprise of GTA Online update shipped today with a host of new quality of life improvements to the game, with rock star games focusing on exploration, the company plans to expand Los Santos with two new car dealerships, much like those seen in Grand Theft Auto IV and Vice City.

Previously teased in the initial trailer for this DLC update, the all-new Luxury Auto will reopen in central Rockford Hills. As of this writing, the dealership remains unavailable, today’s update added a new set of wood borders on the storefronts with the front door showing a new ‘reopening soon’ sign.

Rockstar says in the newswire today that they plan to make light of the reopening soon, it could take a week or two.

Looking at the game files

From what we can gather by reviewing the game files, Luxury Auto will not feature an interior. Rockstar plans to regularly spin a special vehicle inside the display podium from the window with a standard menu to purchase the vehicle. At least that’s what the game’s language files indicate, it doesn’t look like it will feature any form of test drive for this particular dealership, at least for now.

Luxury Autos is now available. Visit the storefront to view and purchase premium vehicles. Stocks are updated regularly, so check back often.

Luxury Auto is a little disappointed considering it could have been so much more than that. On a positive note, it looks like Rockstar is planning to reallocate the dealership from Simeon to take advantage of the interior with new vehicles to buy and even test drive in a limited time. The player will be able to roam freely inside the building to purchase any vehicle on display.

Premium Deluxe Motorsport is now open. See, test and buy vehicles inside the showroom. Premium Deluxe Repo Work is also available at Simeon’s office.

It is currently unknown how long a player will be able to test drive a vehicle, although it will include a timer, and once the timer ends the game will fade to black and return the vehicle to Simeon’s dealership.
