A cash deposit on a luxury supercar is one of several allegedly “highly unusual” transactions analyzed by a liquidator as part of his investigation into Kleio Tool and Plant Hire, which traded as Go Direct.

In February 2016, a Roscommon car dealer allegedly paid a £10,000 down payment to a British company to buy a Lamborghini Huracan, a luxury supercar which sells for around £250,000 and can reach 100km/h in less than four seconds.

Over the following months, more than £144,000 was reportedly transferred from a separate UK company to the Irish company in four transactions, with similar amounts subsequently transferred from the Irish company…
