• 06/10/22 at 2045 Hours. 200 Block of Blalock. Burglary of a home. The victim reported that at some point in the late morning, an unknown person entered the house through an unlocked door and removed items from the master bedroom and the nearest bedroom. The victim had been home most of the day but left shortly around noon. He didn’t realize that items were missing until later that day. A check of his Ring cameras detected movement while he was away from home, but the cameras weren’t recording at the time. It appears that only the master bedroom and the closet were penetrated. Information on the stolen items was obtained and a crime scene specialist responded to the scene. Information was collected and provided to detectives for their follow-up investigation.

• 06/14/22 at 2215 Hours. 11500 Memorial Block. Drunk driving. Officers were monitoring traffic on Voss Road when they observed a vehicle traveling at 59 MPH in a posted 35 MPH zone. Officers conducted a traffic check and, upon approaching the driver, detected an odor of alcohol emanating from the driver. Speaking to the driver, she admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana. The driver completed a series of sobriety tests which she failed. A subsequent breath test showed his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. The 22-year-old woman was taken to Harris County Jail and the vehicle was towed.

• 06/15/22 at 3:45 p.m. 11300 Block from Piney Point Circle. Information report. The resident reported that she had received a letter in the mail of an unpaid insurance claim that was being sent to collections and believed it was a scam. Officers were able to investigate the matter and found that a vehicle she purchased and then traded in 2014 was never transferred into her name and was involved in an accident in May 2022. Officers found a HPD accident report. involving the vehicle and it showed that another person was the driver and owner of the vehicle. A check of MVD records did not show that the vehicle had been properly transferred. The resident was instructed to follow up with the dealer. Officers prepared a police report documenting what they learned about the incorrect/incomplete registration of the vehicle.


• 6/11/22 at 0300 Hours. 1000 Block of Blalock. Agency help from a burglary suspect. MVPD officers assisted the HPD in a burglary investigation and suspects ran into the area. Officers had established a perimeter while other officers began to search the area. While at the scene, officers could hear someone climbing a chain-link fence. HPD officers then began pursuing the suspects who continued to scale the fences. The suspect then appeared near the MVPD officer who began a foot pursuit. The suspect scaled another fence and entered commercial property. The MVPD officer also jumped the fence and located the suspect hiding under a car. The suspect was handed over to HPD officers.

Bunker Hill

• 06/11/22 at 11:45 a.m. 400 Block of Flintdale. Suspicious situation. The victim had just arrived home after making a withdrawal from a bank in the 9300 block of the Katy Highway. Once in her driveway, a woman approached her and asked for directions to San Antonio, then a man in the vehicle yelled at the woman to return to the vehicle, which she did, and they left the place. The female was described as Hispanic, young in her twenties, 5 feet tall, and of average build. The vehicle was a white Tahoe with Arizona license plates. A check of the license plate shows that it belongs to another vehicle. The victim feeling uncomfortable with the situation contacted the MVPD. Officers located the vehicle on the ALPR and it appears the victim was followed from the bank but spooked by other residents and walkers in the area. Information was gathered and the Tahoe license plate was entered into the LPR system to be notified to officers in the event of a return to the area.

• 06/14/22 at 1615 Hours. 1-100 block from Norvell Court. Theft of a bicycle. The victim reported that between June 4, 2022 and June 6, 2022, unknown persons removed a child’s bicycle from the side driveway of his property without his permission. Information about the bike was obtained and entered into the state database. A report was provided to detectives for the follow-up investigation.

• 06/17/22 at 04:30. 12100 Memorial Block. Criminal trespass. Officers were dispatched to the Forest Club in reference to the noise coming from the swimming pool. Upon arrival in the area, officers spotted 3 minors on the property swimming in the pool. Officers learned the miners were visiting a friend in the area and spending the night when they decided to go swimming. A guardian was contacted who responded to the scene and took custody of the minors. Charges are pending.

Hunter’s Creek

• 06/13/22 at 11:30 p.m. 200 Block of Voss. Illegal possession of weapons. Officers were monitoring traffic on Voss Road when a vehicle was observed traveling at 48 mph in a 35 mph zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop and upon approaching, the driver could smell the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and could see several firearms inside the car. Officers removed the driver and vehicle and conducted a search which located a quantity of marijuana and 3 loaded firearms (photo attached). The 24-year-old was taken into custody and held in Harris County Jail. The vehicle was towed.
