Simpsons Motor Group Great Yarmouth celebrated its 61st anniversary by being named third for Aftersales and second overall in the Skoda UK Retailer of the Year 2021 awards. He was also named co-first for People Excellence out of 128 Skoda retailers.

The awards are based on customer service, employee accreditation and overall performance – rather than just being awarded to the dealers who sell the most cars.

“We are absolutely delighted to win the Retailer of the Year award for the eighth time since we joined the Skoda franchise 16 years ago,” said Managing Director Andrew Aldis.

Commenting on the People Excellence award, Andrew added: “We have won other awards but it was very special to win this one as it shows people that we care about our people. It’s truly a family business, and all the staff are part of that family. If you treat your staff like that, it reflects on how you deal with customers.

“Our customers enjoy seeing the same people when they come year after year – and they get to know them personally. It’s pretty rare these days. »

Sales Director Belinda Crick said: “We are incredibly proud of our incredible staff for their hard work – and beyond grateful to our customers for their loyalty. We work very hard to provide value and choice, as well as friendly, professional service. This helps us build lasting relationships and we love having the same customers over and over again.

The Simpsons dealership on Suffolk Road, next to the new Third River Crossing, has remained open digitally during the pandemic, offering a full range of services – including door-to-door delivery for car purchases.

There is a range of award-winning models on display at the award-winning dealership. Skoda won seven titles in the 2021 edition of What Car? Awards including Best Family SUV for Practicality for the Karoq, Best Small SUV for Practicality for the Kamiq and Station Wagon of the Year for the stunning SE L.
