TEWKSBURY – Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a Quincy man with trafficking fentanyl following an investigation into information provided by a community member.

JORGE RAMIREZ ANDUJAR, 30, FROM QUINCYwas arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking over 10 grams of fentanyl

On Monday August 8, the Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit responded to reports of drug trafficking provided by a concerned resident.

The Narcotics Unit, together with officers from Dracut and Chelmsford Police Department and the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, investigated a suspected drug dealer, later identified as ANDUJAR, at the Ames Hill apartment complex.

Detectives contacted ANDUJAR after conducting an investigation and locating over 20 grams of fentanyl.

ANDUJAR is due in court Tuesday in Lowell District Court.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
